Headset Pantech

My daughter has a Pantech C300...it continually says headset is plugged in even though it is not.?

Speaker now does not work because it thinks headset is always plugged in. One contact person said "Have to send to AT&T(Cingular)". Tried turning off, taking battery out, sim out, etc...nothing worked. Need a firm answer...not just a guess. Have you had this problem before?

I work for a cell phone provider, and we run across this occasionally. Just do a master reset...it takes the phone back to factory settings. You usually don't lose ringtones or images, but you may want to check your manual to make sure.
