Virgin Mobile Prepaid Cell Phones
I want to buy a nice cell phone to use on my prepaid cell plan is this possible?
I have virgin mobile cell service and love the new full keyboard phones, can I buy any cell phone to use on a prepaid plan or do I have to get a phone from virgin mobile only?
Sorry, you can only use Virgin Mobile phones with Virgin Mobile. They don't allow flashing of other-phones like Metro/Cricket and you can't unlock a phone on their network either. Different technologies.
They won't even allow Helio phones on, which is weird because the merged and are now one company. The way to expand your range of possible VM phones is to go to ebay , punch in Virgin Mobile and see what's on the used market in addition to the newer models.
The older models are cheaper . The Wildcard and the Switchback are both full qwerty phones that are pretty cheap used.
